A Few Words For My Brown Queer Friends

September 2018, Swedish election approaching, populism on the rise, Khemiri spent some sleepless hours in an airport hotel in Oslo and wrote a short text to his “brown queer friends”. He posted it on Instagram and it went viral.

The text was subsequently published on the front cover of the cultural section of Dagens Nyheter, and translated into numerous languages, including Italian (published by Internazionale).
